With increasing importance of the self, the body as the most obvious base of self, has found a special place and has become a basis for renewed attention to the body and its prevalence around topics such as consumption, and lifestyle. The aim of this research is to study the types of consumption styles of women in Tabriz and its relationship with body management. The method was a survey in which the required data was collected using a researcher-made questionnaire o. The statistical population of the study is women over 15 years of age in Tabriz in 1402, of which 401 were selected using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. The descriptive findings show that among the dimensions of body management, slimming procedures have the lowest average and facial and body makeup have the highest average. In the types of consumption styles, functional consumption style has the highest and status-oriented consumption style has the lowest average. The inferential findings indicate that the average body management is significantly different in terms of the variables of marital status, education level, employment status, average family income and socio-economic status of the respondents. Also, the relationship between body management and age and functional consumption style was negative and significant, but it was positive and significant with ascetic, status and hedonistic consumption styles. The regression model indicates that among the types of consumption styles, status consumption style, ascetic consumption style and hedonistic consumption style, explain 56% of the variance of the body management.
