The Relationship between Failure and Psycho-verbal Violence of Men and Women in Families of Isfahan

Abstract

One of the most common types of violence in which the physical and overt dimensions of violence are less visible and the hidden and mental angles are more visible, are psychological and verbal violence.This study aims to measure the rate of failure and psychological violence.And a word has been done among men and women of families in Isfahan. The research method is comparative-correlational.The statistical population of the study includes all married women and men in Isfahan who have been married for two years. Among them, 384 people using Cochran's formula by two-step sampling method; Cluster and systematic were selected as the sample size.Data were collected using the standard questionnaire of Gilbert and Allen as well as a researcher-made questionnaire. The results showed: the rate of psychological violence among men and the rate of verbal violence among women were common. There is A positive and significant correlation was observed between feelings of failure and psychological and verbal violence.There is also a difference between gender and verbal psychological violence in that the rate of psycho-verbal violence is higher among women than men.Explains a word. Therefore, it is suggested that in order to reduce the level of conflict and domestic violence, the necessary training to raise the awareness of men and women about marital issues in various dimensions should be considered by the authorities. Also, measures should be taken to provide services to victims. Violence such as: establishing counseling centers, strengthening social work institutions, and providing legal protection to victims of violence.
