Abstract

The purpose of this study is to consider the nature of the research and the method of research is descriptive, Review and explain the effects of television programs on the cultural development of rural women West Chiar districts. The study sample was composed of all women over 15 years old rural districts of West Chiar, Due to constraints of time and place, Researchers have not been able to review all statistical population And the Was selected as the sample using the formula Cochran 359 persons. This questionnaire was the main instrument which confirmed the validity (face validity) to obtain the views of academics and experts and to evaluate the reliability of the research instrument was a questionnaire study guide 30 in a village outside the study area. Indicate the reliability of the instrument was used for all parts of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha coefficient. SPSS software was used for data analysis using SPSS and related tests. Overall results showed that although women in rural districts in Western Chiar daily average of 4 hours of your time will be spent using the TV broadcasts, the impact of these programs was a mean 2.9, lower than the average cultural development of rural women Chiar West districts. broadcast programs to promote women's rights And the Broadcast programs to strengthen the participation of the villagers.
