One of the most important criteria for evaluating the development of a country is the position andvalueof the women in that country. In developed communities,the presence of women is more effective and notable. Since equal distribution of opportunities and resources among men and women marks further economic growth and production, study ofthe impact of gender inequalities on human development index as a benchmark to assess economic development is substantial.This research applies panel data and simultaneous equation systemmethod, using STAT Asoftware to measure the impact of gender inequalities in education and employment on human development index and makes a comparison between these two. Chosen sample for this study are three groups of countries: under developed countries, developing countries and developed countries, from 1990 to 2010. Results indicate that gender inequalities in both employment and education have a negative effect on human development index. In compare with education, employment has a greater effect on human development index.
