The present research attempts to study stressful factors and determining variables of job satisfaction among the academic staffs of Alzahra University. The number of faculty members who are included in the study is 87. Three instruments were used, which are: questionnaire of job stressors of the academic staffs, copying styles, and job satisfaction. The results indicated the main stressors to be as the following.
l-Lack of time for updating oneself with the new research findings. 2-Lack of enough progress in the job.
3-Lack of enough facilities.
4-Presence in time consuming administrative sessions. 5-Lack of enough earnings.
The main predicting variables of job satisfaction of the academic staffs were: problem focused copying, life satisfaction, and role clarity.
