The Effect of Mothers' Job Difficulty and Spouse Cooperation in Householding on Marital Satisfaction and Children's Behavioural Disorders

Abstract

The aim of this study is twofold: the first is investigating the effect of .."others' job difficulty and their spouses' cooperation in householding on ...atisfaction of marital relationships. The second is exploring the effect of all hese variables on children's behavioural disorders. A sample of 150 mpfoyed mothers with Kindergarten's child of Shiraz city completed ~hildren's behavioural disorders, job difficulty, spouse cooperation, and narital relations scales. General findings indicate that job difficulty does not redict satisfaction of marital relationships. But spouse cooperation ositively predicts marital relationships.
Moreover, job difficulty predicts nly children's aggression and marital relationships predict aggression and vithdrawal negatively. The findings are discussed with respect to research iterature and suggestions for further investigations are set forth.
